Here is one more reason why Google is the best company in our high tech world – Google TV. But the real question is…
Can Google TV Save You Money?
From a recent Wall Street Journal article, Google will be officially unveiling Google TV at their developers conference in San Francisco May 19-20, 2010. Google TV will purportedly convert your television into a large web portal complete with search capability, streaming video, games and much more. All that sounds great.
However, it may also provide an option to the high price cable and satellite services. If Google TV can give the consumer options of what content and/or channels they want to watch, and eliminate being forced to buy all the extra “package” channels, then I would be very excited. Not only would Google TV potentially save all of us money, but it would take television entertainment to new uncharted territory. This new television technology may change technology like never before (for the better) and I am excited!
