What is Internal Linking?
Building backlinks to your website is number one on the list of items search engines look at to rank your website. Having a link building strategy is obviously very important. Part of that strategy should be Internal Linking.

A good example is having a post about backlinks where there is information about writing articles to create backlinks and using those keywords to link back to the post or posts on writing articles, thereby creating an Internal Backlink.

Another way to create Internal Backlinks and get traffic to a particular page or post quickly is to take the original page or blog post and create several similar (but different) pages with similar names and link those back to the original page. You can change the name just slightly so they are related in topic. This is an excellent way to get the search engines to notice the page and send traffic.
