Article Marketing is one of the best ways to create backlinks to your website. Creating backlinks is the whole point of article marketing.

Did you know many article directories do not create backlinks for you? It is sad but true. ArticlesBase has become popular and now ranks high in traffic, yet they do not give you a backlink for your article. They let you place links in the body of your article, but those links have “no follow”. No Follow means the search engines will not follow the link in your article.. on their website.. to your website. In essence eliminating what would otherwise create a backlink. Therefore, it will not count as a backlink for SEO purposes, but will get you some traffic.

Internet and Article Marketing are passions of mine, so I am constantly testing different online media to see what works best. I started writing articles about the city and Press Releases about the Hostel. Within a few months the Casa Yallaha website went from obscurity to the bottom of Google’s first page. Within 5 months we were in the top 3 on page 1, and stayed there.

But that’s not what this article is about. A few months ago, I started using Google Alerts to track how information about Casa Yallaha and our competition were being distributed around the Internet. Each week, sometimes daily, I am surprised by an Alert that a blog or website has picked up or published one of my articles. Considering I only wrote 9 articles, what better proof is there that Article Marketing works?

Most of the articles being re-published were done correctly, with our link in tact. Unfortunately, some kept the name in the article but not the link. Still, the proof article marketing works is there. Bloggers and webmasters need content for their websites, and they get it from article directories.

Just think if I had written 20, 50 or hundreds of articles. Each one would continue to spawn out in the Internet World telling our story, bringing in traffic and backlinks. Article Marketing Works.

When I see a website landing page that goes on and on and on, I get bored and, if I have any interest at all, page down to the bottom to see the cost.

I have often thought these obnoxiously long landing pages cannot be converting well, and Internet Marketers should take heed and cater their pages to a more precise, to the point page. Here are a few Landing Page Tips for obtaining a better conversion rate:

• Keep it Simple in text and design
• Lead your visitors to a Call to Action quickly
• Have only one Call to Action per Landing Page
• Show Samples of the product
• Provide Testimonials
• Keep it as Short and to the point as possible
• Offer an Incentive – give something away for free if they act now!
• Test your Landing Page with a tool like Google’s Webmaster Tools

Your website’s success or failure is directly related to how well you create your landing page. Follow the tips above to increase your conversions and don’t forget to test how well it is doing. Testing is critical to Internet success.

Creating a mailing list and keeping in touch with your followers is an important, probably the most important, aspect of Internet Marketing. Autoresponders can automate this task for you, but can be costly. As a result, many new Internet Marketers will not obtain this important business tool. No office would want to hire him at his age of 64. Yet, Tim did not let that deter him and impressed the man so much, he hired him.
